KinLink free on iOS — targeting November 15
We're targeting a free iOS launch for KinLink on November 15, 2026.
We're taking a little more time to polish the first version families will meet: Places Mesh for arrival and departure alerts at Places you choose, plus Request Check-in (location and an optional note) with clear consent. Not another live map to stare at all day. Readiness and product quality come first.
App Store review timing can still shift a launch date, so November 15 is our target, not a hard guarantee. We'll update kinlinkapp.com if that changes.
What we're aiming to ship on iOS (free at launch)
- Places Mesh — shared Places, arrival and departure alerts when sharing is on
- Request Check-in — ask for a check-in; reply is location plus an optional note (no photos or videos at launch)
- Invite with code and PIN — guardians and dependents join with clear roles
- A privacy posture we're willing to put in writing — see our Privacy Policy for processors and details
What KinLink is not
- Not covert tracking
- Not in Apple's Kids Category, and not for children under 13
- Not Family or Pro pricing on the free launch path (we're not putting paid tiers in front of first run)
If you want a note when we're live, join the waitlist on kinlinkapp.com. We'll keep collecting signups and ship when the build and store listing are ready.
